“Sleep monitoring made easy”

Having trouble sleeping or just curious about your sleeping habits? Dream Recorder is a collection of different tools to monitor your sleep. The application can play different music according to the phases of your sleep, which they divide in relaxing, dream feedback and waking up. The sounds included in the application may feel too mystical for you, but luckily you can also listen to your iTunes library directly from Dream Recorder. If you have an iSight camera , you'll be able to record your sleep. The program will be sensible to all noise and movement. Any activity will be recorded and saved in a report. You'll also be able to view statistics on your sleeping pattern.

Dream Recorder is certainly an original application and we like the idea of monitoring your sleep and generating statistics from that. However the interface felt a bit confusing. The icons were too small and often had little or no explanations. Users need also be aware that the results you get with Dream Recorder can vary widely. They can depend on things like how close you place your Mac to your bed, what type of sleeper you are and many other small details. Still, try it out, Dream Recorder is good fun.
